EfVET Youth Conference
In October 2024, Mbo Amersfoort will host the EFVET Conference in the Netherlands. The ambition for this year’s EFVET conference is to involve students. This is why we have decided to create a EFVET Youth Conference. Parallel to the main conference we have organized a separate program for a group of maximum 20 students.
The program will include parts of the main conference (such as dinners and gala), teambuilding with fellow students, interesting excursions and students will be challenged to take part in a competition themed "Training Gen Z, new horizons for VET".
The students will be accommodated in a hostel (Stayokay Soest) and transport during the conference will be arranged. There will be guidance during the day and evening.
The program includes a competition so students will have to pitch their proposals at the end of the conference. A winner will be chosen by all conference participants. The required level of English for participating students is B2 (CEFR) and the minimum age is 18, maximum 26 years.
As the National board, the opportunity is given to you to enroll a maximum of two students per country. We aim to have at least 10 competing countries to enhance the international character of the conference.
The student conference fee (€ 300) includes accommodation, meals, excursions and transport (during the conference). The costs of travelling to the conference venue are at your own expense.
Please note that Erasmus+-funding is possible for this event because a competition element is part of the conference.
