Join the UM x OU Event on Thursday 12 December 2024! 

Are you curious about shaping your career? Or are you finishing your PhD or post-doc and wondering what’s next?

Join us for a special collaboration event between Maastricht University (UM) and Open Universiteit (OU), tailored for early career scientists/students/alumni exploring how to build their careers beyond academia.

We’ve invited two professionals, Prof. Dr. Rogier van de Wetering and Dr. Jérôme Gijselaers, who understand the evolving job market and how to navigate it successfully. Their stories will provide actionable advice on leveraging your skills for future success—whether inside or outside of academia. Following the talks, you will have an opportunity to network with peers from various fields.

If you have registered, we count on your presence as we order catering a week prior to the event. It is a shame if we need to throw away food so please be mindful of this.
