Technological innovation plays a vital part in the intelligent reform of our AgriFood production and supply systems. Therefore, TU Delft collaborates with entrepreneurs in horticulture and knowledge institutes. With groundbreaking research, extensive knowledge, and innovative solutions, we want to increase high-quality agricultural production sustainably.

Collaboration is key

TU Delft offers different ways to bring together scientists and entrepreneurs to develop, test, proof and demonstrate new technologies:

• Researchers collaborate within our AgTech Institute in highly diverse fields, such as Artificial Intelligence, Circular Systems, Environmental Resources, Robotic Systems, Sensor Technology and Sustainable Energy.

• TU Delft Campus is the international breeding ground for radical innovations. We collaborate with other knowledge institutes, stimulate and facilitate start-ups and offer an international breeding ground to more than 275 companies at TU Delft Campus.

• Do IoT Fieldlab connects experts on wireless communication and sensing technology with pioneering entrepreneurs. The experimenting environment and 5G facilities offer testing opportunities under realistic conditions.

Visit High Tech in Horticulture & Agriculture on March 24 from 14:00 - 18:00 at TU Delft.

Be inspired at the plenary program, during which our panel will share their experiences, discuss how TU Delft collaborates with the sector through its fieldlabs and the AgTech Institute, and explain how TU Delft research contributes to advancing the industry. During the keynote presentation, Marcel Reinders and Hedwich Teunissen will share insights into their project CropXR. Aimed at enhancing crop resilience by integrating plant biology, simulation models, and AI.
