Workshop: Co-write a Convergence Future

"Come brainstorm with us, share what works well, and help shape plans for the future."

This workshop hosts five roundtables to deepen collaboration on five key resilience challenges for the City of Rotterdam. The challenges relate to: (1) climate resilience & weather extremes, (2) vital systems, (3) resilience risk analysis, (4) economical resilience under sea-level rise and (5) resilient communities. The roundtables facilitate an exchange of perspectives and running initiatives and work towards shared propositions to strengthen existing collaborations. This workshop has limited capacity and it is not possible to reserve for a specific table beforehand

Ted Veldkamp is Lector (Professor of Applied Science) at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. As Lector Ted works on climate and water-related issues on a global, national and local scale. Researching and working on climate-proof, water-robust and climate-just urban deltas is central to this.
