Research funding workshop
In this workshop participants will get an overview of the most important funding organisations in Germany and the EU and their programmes. In particular, funding opportunities for one's "own position", for a research stay abroad and for starting a junior research group are presented. Dos & Don'ts of proposal writing to confidently navigate through the complex process of applying for research grants will also be discussed.

Research Data Management/Open Science workshop
We all dream of a world where the principles of Open Science are applied perfectly, so that every scientist can optimize their data for further research, thereby increasing reproducibility and strengthening scientific exchange and credibility of research results. In order to do so, excellent data management is required as the various kinds of data needs to be prepared so it's findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. This workshop offers you an overview on research data management in all phases of your research project: from the development of a data management plan as part of the application process to support in finding suitable (subject) repositories, the technical storage options and the publication of your research data.
