Building an infrastructure for a national Radiological Image Repository

In the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for a national Radiological Image Repository for COVID-19 patients became clear. The Dutch Society for Radiologists decided to initiate such a repository for COVID-19 patients to allow for collaboration between different hospitals and researchers in the development of algorithms and their validation. Besides, it would allow for integration with other clinical data such as patient characteristics and laboratory findings. Lots of issues needed to be addressed such as privacy, data transfer agreements, collaboration agreements to name a few. During my presentation I will take you through the journey of getting to the point where we currently are and our future vision.
