Summary

Health-RI strives to build and implement a health research data infrastructure based on regional nodes that are connected through a central hub. Within each of the nodes the observational health data from the local care providers will be made available for analysis and machine learning in a secure and privacy-preserving manner. These high-level ambitions need to be detailed in the coming months in order to arrive at an implementation plan. The Health-RI architecture & IT community is tasked with creating the first architectural diagrams at various levels: data flows, procedures, software and hardware.

Within this workshop we will zoom in on one of these aspects: we will join behind a virtual drawing board and try to detail some of the data flows from hospital care systems towards the local FAIR data points (e.g. a research data exchange platform) in one of the Health-RI regional nodes.
