Call for posters and demos

The Health-RI 2021 conference will host an online poster & demonstration session. 

Share your expertise, experience and ideas

Planning

• 5 February 2021: abstract submission deadline
• 8 February 2021: notification of selection
• 19 February 2021: deadline to submit the poster PDF / video

Abstract

Submit a short (max 300 words) abstract describing: 

• how your work contributes to or benefits from the infrastructure for health data.
• your ideas on implementing personalized health and precision medicine.
• how your biobank, cohort, registry, dataset or other research collection benefits from health data infrastructure; 
• the need for an appropriate infrastructure or data policy for data collection;
• how your pursue proper data stewardship to make research more transparent and FAIR; 
• quality and privacy aspects of data and samples (e.g. Helpdesk, ELSI = Ethical, Legal, Societal Implications);
• development of IT-tools, technology, and equipment for innovation of data analyses;
• setting up an infrastructure, network or consortium to optimize precision medicine or personalized health;
• using (real world) health data to realize precision medicine;

Submission guidelines

For optimal visibility we highly encourage participants to make a video in which they present their poster or demo. 

• Please submit your abstract and your PDF/video (as stated below) via your conference registration form  --> In case you already registered: please retrieve the confirmation email and follow the link to the registration form to change your registration.
• Poster: after notification of acceptance, please submit:
  • a 1-page A4 format PDF file of your poster.
  • Highly recommended: the link to a Youtube video in which you present your poster. Please limit your video to a maximum of 5 minutes.
• Demo: after notification please submit:
  • Required: the link to a Youtube video in which you present your demo. Please limit your video to a maximum of 5 minutes.

Video presentation:

• Youtube: please make a video via your phone or via your laptop. Upload your video to a Youtube channel and send us the link via your registration form. Find an example here.

Presentation

The posters and demos (PDF/video) will be made available via the online conference environment and will  be available from one week before the start of the conference until 30 days after the conference.  Before, during and after the conference, participants will be able to contact you via the conference app.

Demonstrations

Researchers and developers from public organizations can present examples of the use of tools, systems and prototypes in practice.
