What’s new?
This awaited and highly requested feature is now live on our Event Website Builder! You can designate session types to each of your program items and assign speakers to them. Until now, all speakers were always shown together in the same widget. There was no way to visually split them.
With that new feature you can go even further and choose how the speakers are displayed, based on the session types. Highlight your main speakers or hide the smaller ones - the choice is yours.
How does it work?
Curious how this works? Watch this tutorial video or follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Speakers section
- Go to Settings
- Select the Speaker widget. you can choose which session types to display
- Create a clear distinction between highlighted and secondary speakers
For example: you can now create one widget that shows only the main speakers, and another that shows other speakers in a different layout.
- It’s also possible to display only speakers from one session type (e.g. keynote speakers).
Why does it matter?
With this new feature you can take your website to a higher level. It now appears more structured and easily scannable by participants. There is no excess information and you’re able to establish a clear hierarchy. You can now amplify the importance of your main speakers, which provides a clear focus point for the participants.
