We are pleased to invite you to The art of scientific computing, an event to celebrate the launch of the DelftBlue supercomputer and the 5th anniversary of the TU Delft Institute for Computational Science & Engineering. This event will take place on Friday, September 30, in the Prinsenhof in Delft.
The programme will feature prominent speakers in the field of HPC and CSE. Confirmed speakers include: combustion pioneer Jacqueline Chen from Sandia National Laboratories; Henk Prins, Manager R&D at MARIN and Zoltán Perkó, computational physicist & AI researcher at TU Delft working on medical applications. A special component of the programme is a performance by prominent artist Jeroen van der Most who creates art from data and algorithms.

The art of scientific computing will take place in the van der Mandelezaal, of museum Prinsenhof, former court of Willem van Oranje, in the historic centre of Delft.
