Workshop 1: LinkedIn Essentials: boost your job search!

Maybe it is not the first thing that pops up in your mind when thinking about the first steps in your career. However, it should be. LinkedIn is the largest professional platform and is used for building strong networks, finding investors and hiring new talents. Job recruiters and managers are on LinkedIn and they will use it to check your profile. In this workshop, you will learn how to create a strong LinkedIn profile and how you can use it for your own professional growth.

Workshop 2: A career example in the commercial side of healthcare

There is a possibility to do good for patients on the one hand AND be commercially succesfull on the other hand. If you focus on the tripple win… win for the patient win for the customer and win for the company and be clear about that you can achieve a lot. My story is about that!

Workshop 3: Entrepreneurial Opportunities & Challenges withing Healthcare

During this masterclass an overview of practice based examples of entrepreneuring will be given. The SHC (Sustainable healthcare challenge) will host a session whereby personal insights about entrepreneuring will be shared. Furthermore, an entrepreneurial case from a healthcare organisation will be shared and presented.

Workshop 4: Public affairs and advocacy for societal added value
Provided by Rosario Perez López, Public Affairs Consultant & Julieta Laurens, Talent Acquisition Manager | RPP (policy consultancy)

RPP’s key field of expertise and activity is healthcare. As such, we take seriously our role in the political and societal landscape we work in and we believe in public affairs as a means to enhance the societies we live in, and not as a commercial end in itself. Our projects always aim at improving the lives of those concerned – patients, healthcare professionals, healthcare systems, etc. – and at bringing added value to society. Many products have a societal value that extends beyond their immediate market value to the customer. Policymakers are responsible for ensuring that the overall societal needs of society are met and putting in place policy incentives or disincentives to ensure they are. RPP Group specializes in demonstrating the societal value of products and ideas to one of the most economically powerful and influential consumer groups in the world: governments.

The workshop will follow a structured format designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of our organization and its work. The session will commence with a brief overview of the company, providing insights into our mission, values, and the industry we operate in. This will be followed by a dynamic learning experience, primarily through a combination of case studies and group discussions.

This workshop will be particularly useful if you have an interest in the field of Public Affairs and are looking to gain practical insights into the dynamics of this industry.

Workshop 5: From analysis to realization: the steps involved in healthcare consulting

In a changing health care setting where resources are scarce, customers and patients are changing and collaboration is more needed than ever, the industry is playing an important role. In this workshop, we will do a deep dive on a potential customer to see which needs a hospital in 2022 has. We will aim to identify a suitable approach to solve those needs and learn how to approach a customer. The workshop will be based on a real life case and there will be plenty of time to ask questions!
