General Terms and Conditions

LRCB Breast Cancer Screening Course

The course has a minimum and maximum number of participants. In case of insufficient applications (less than 8), the LRCB has the right to cancel the course until 5 weeks prior to the event start. Please keep this in mind for your travel arrangements. Kindly note that places are offered upon a first-come, first-served basis. If the course is fully booked, you may still apply for a place on the waiting list and we will contact you in case of availability.

Terms of cancellation
No refunds can be provided if an applicant withdraws his/her application after 6 weeks prior to the event start.

Member registration
Reduced course registration is available to all active EUSOBI Members in 2024.

Registration of third person
Upon registration on behalf of third persons, the registering person warrants and guarantees to be entitled to execute such registrations according to these General Terms and Conditions in the name and on behalf of such third persons by proxy and to declare any and all approvals and consents required according to these General Terms and Conditions in the third person’s name and behalf.

Name change
Name changes will be treated like the cancellation of one registration and the new registration of another participant.

COVID-19 disclaimer
Besides all security measures that will be taken, neither the LRCB, nor EUSOBI or any other involved organising party can take the responsibility in case of an infection with covid-19 during your travel and stay on occasion of the LRCB Breast Cancer Screening Course, as well as during the attendance of the event itself.

Limitation of liability
There is neither any liability nor any obligation of LRCB/EUSOBI in case of cancellation of the LRCB Breast Cancer Screening Course 2024 for whatever reasons. Apart from damages caused by physical injury, the liability of LRCB/EUSOBI for damages of any other kind shall be restricted to willful intent or gross negligence. LRCB/EUSOBI shall not be liable for any damages caused by force majeure.
