Lars Ove Dragsted is a full professor at the University of Copenhagen where he is head of Preventive and Clinical Nutrition at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports. He has an MSc (1980) in Biochemistry and a PhD (1994) in Toxicology. His research group conducts human trials, metabolomics, microbiomics and biomarker development. A major focus area in the last 15 years has been on the application of metabolomics to improve assessment of dietary compliance with an aim to increase confidence in nutrition research.
