  BioSB 2025 Conference fees

20 and 21 May 2025

Including dinner and evening program on 20 May

 

Conference Fees with Early Bird Discount - Valid until 9 April 2025:

From 9 April on regular fees will be charged (regular fees between brackets)

Fees include overnight accommodation and are including 21% VAT

 

Shared rooms are preferred,

since the number of single rooms is limited!

Single rooms @ de Berckt are mostly rooms meant for more than 1 person, but just allocated to 1 person. That is why we cannot offer many single rooms at the venue, as it comes at the expense of overall capacity.

If single rooms are no longer available but are requested, participants are expected to arrange alternative accommodation at their own expense. In that case, twice the daily rate will be charged for participating BioSB 2025.

 

Room sharing rules

The rooms in De Berckt are simple and often furnished with bunk beds. We aim for a maximum of two people per shared room. PhD or MSc students may be able to get a room with up to four people.

• Mention the name and email address of your preferred roommate and ask your roommate to do the same in his/her registration;
• You can mention up to 3 more roommates. Make sure to agree among each other that all group members mention the same group.
• If you don't mention 1-3 roommates, we will choose 1 to 3 roommates for you (based on gender).

 

BioSB PhD retreat

The fee for the BioSB PhD retreat includes dinner and evening programme on May 19. Also breakfast on May 20 is included.

 

Annual BioSB Faculty meeting

The BioSB Faculty meeting is scheduled for the evening of May 19, inviting leaders/experts from the broad field of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (academic and private sector). You can register for the meeting using the conference registration form. Please note that you can also register for the faculty meeting without attending the conference. More information on the BioSB faculty meeting will follow.

Payment policy

Payment of the registration fee is included in the registration procedure. We accept PayPal, iDeal and Direct e-banking. A final confirmation will be sent by e-mail (please check your SPAM folder if not received).

 

Group bookings

Booking more than one person can easily be done by choosing the option "submit and add extra person" at the bottom of the registration process.

 

Cancellation policy

Bookings can be cancelled until April 9th through 'your registration page’. You will find the link to this page in your confirmation e-mail. Administrative costs (€30.00) and optional banking fees will be extracted from the total refund sum.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund after this date. In case of illness or accident, we advise you to consult your employer's insurance.
