BioSB PhD retreat 2024

YoungCB is organizing the BioSB PhD retreat 2024 in the afternoon (and evening) of June 17 preceding the BioSB conference, at Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmont aan Zee. 

YoungCB (ISCB Regional Student Group Netherlands) is excited to announce the annual BioSB PhD retreat! Open to all PhD's, master students and young scientists in the field of bioinformatics and systems biology. 

GREEN AND EFFICIENT DATA SCIENCE

This years’ PhD retreat will revolve around green and efficient data science. In a combination of talks and hands-on exercises, this half-day event will be a great opportunity to learn how to run your analyses in an efficient way, as well as how to make your work reusable for yourself and others - the most efficient code is the one you don’t have to write, after all! All while having plenty of opportunity to meet your fellow PhD students and postdocs in the field of computational biology. We will finish the day with a nice dinner and a fun activity (no spoilers yet ;) ). So don’t forget to sign up to the PhD retreat when you sign up for BioSB 2024!

You can register for the retreat via the registration form for the conference. The costs for participating in the retreat, dinner and bowling are 65 euro (incl. VAT).
