Everything you always wanted to know about moving from academia to industry (but were too afraid to ask).

This parallel session aims to provide members of academia — especially MSc and PhD students — with a comprehensive overview of the industrial landscape. It will highlight potential career trajectories, skills and experiences valued by industry leaders, and the innovative projects and products driving various industrial fields forward. Moreover, it will serve as a platform for companies to present their work, ethos, and opportunities, attracting emerging talent eager to make a real-world impact.

The speakers, hailing from diverse domains such as data & informatics, agriculture, biotechnology, human and animal nutrition, and cancer research, will deliver six 10-minute talks. The session will end with an engaging 20-minute Q&A session.
