Route description & public transport
Information about how to reach Hotel Zuiderduin and where to park your car can be found here.
Public transport:
If you travel with public transport it is best to take the train to Alkmaar or Castricum. From Alkmaar train station you can take bus number 165 (every 30 minutes) and from Castricum train station you can take bus number 164 (every hour). The bus stops at a walking distance from the conference hotel.
Conference hotel
You will not receive a separate confirmation of your hotel booking, this is included in your registration. You can check in by mentioning your name at the hotel desk.
- Check-in time after 15:00
- Check-out time before 10:30
Before check-in and after check-out you can leave your luggage & coat in room number 530.
Breakfast will be served from 7:00 to 10:30.
Poster sessions & demo's
Posters should be prepared in A0 portrait format: height: 1189 mm (46.81 inches) and width: 841 mm (33.11 inches).
Demos: we will set up a poster board and a table for you in Room 525. Please bring your own laptop for the demo! There will be a beamer and screen in the room. To connect to the beamer you need 2 USB-C ports, please bring a USB-C connector if you laptop has only one USB-C port.
- Poster/demo set up in Lounge & Room 525: May 9, 11:00 - 11:30
- Poster/demo sessions: May 9, 17:30 - 19:30 (Even numbers) and May 10, 12:30 - 13:30 (Odd numbers)
- Poster/demo dismantle: May 10, after 17:00-17:30
Presentations & technical requirements
There is a presentation laptop available in every room, where you can upload your presentation in the coffee break before your presentation slot.
You can also use your own laptop for your presentation. If you have an Apple laptop, please don't forget to bring a VGA adaptor. Please check the programme for the time slot of your presentation.

Feel free to leave information on events, courses, job vacancies, CV’s on the dedicated poster boards in Lounge 1.

The registration desk opens at 8:30 and is located in Lounge 1.
