Registration fees

All fees mentioned are inclusive of 21% VAT

As we decided to go online only with the conference as well as with the PhD retreat, you can register for online participation only now. 

• Online registration is valid for both conference days. 
   
• PhD retreat registration: via the registration form you can also register for the PhD retreat on Oct 26th.

Only registration for the ONLINE program is possible.

Please note that if you registered for the April conference or the Hybrid October conference (before going completely online), your registration is automatically valid for the online October conference. You do not have to change anything. 

As you can imagine, the covid-19 pandemic does not only affect the organization of the BioSB 2020 conference, but also has a huge impact on the finances of the BioSB research school as a whole. Since we are a small organization for and from the Dutch bioinformatics and systems biology community, we have limited financial resources. The yearly conference is the most important means for us to organize all activities for the entire Dutch BioSB community. We therefore strongly hope that you are willing to support us, not only by attending the BioSB 2020 conference, but also by donating the difference in registration fee between the in-person attendance and online participation to the BioSB organization.

Should you not wish to do this, please let us know by sending us an email and we will refund the difference in registration fee.

Please note that refunds are possible until October 26th! After this date refunds will no longer be processed.

 

BioSB membership

Your registration includes BioSB membership. If you are not interested in the membership, please opt out during the registration procedure for the conference. The registration fee remains unaffected by opting out for the complementary BioSB membership for 2020.

 

Payment policy

Payment of the registration fee is included in the registration procedure. We accept MasterCard, VISA and American Express credit cards, PayPal, iDeal and Direct e-banking. A final confirmation will be sent by e-mail.

Cancellation policy

Registrations can be cancelled until September 15, 2020 through 'your registration page’, you will find the link to this page in your confirmation e-mail. Please contact Femke Francissen to receive a refund. Administrative costs (€ 5.00) and optional banking fees will be extracted from the total refund sum.

Changing your registration

If you would like to receive a refund for the change of registration from in-person to online or for your booked hotel room, please actively contact Femke Francissen. Please note that refunds are possible until October 26th! After this date refunds will no longer be possible.
