Benelux Metabolomics Days 2025

The Benelux Metabolomics Days, the annual conference of the Netherlands/Benelux Metabolomics Centre (NMC), aims to bring together the Metabolomics community in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

This year, the Benelux Metabolomics Days will be held
August 27 and 28, 2025 at Leiden University.

Professor Thomas Hankemeier from the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research and Director of the NMC/BMC is the host of this year's conference entitled

Translation to impact: from breakthroughs in fundamental science to applications of metabolomics .

Scientific programme

The conference will feature keynote lectures and hot topics identified by the scientific committee. Presentations by early career researchers will be selected through the submission of abstracts, which can be submitted from 14 April onwards. The conference offers a platform to present Metabolomics research developments via oral presentations as well as poster presentations. We encourage all PhD students, postdocs and senior researchers working in metabolomics to share their work with the Benelux metabolomics community to make new connections and expand their metabolomics network during these days.

Registration, Abstract and Poster Submission is OPEN!

Want to present your metabolomics research and show the impact? We strongly encourage all PhDs, PDs but also senior researchers to upload their abstract in one of the various sessions, which cover a broad spectrum of metabolomics research. Information on sessions and abstract upload here.

Social programme

There will be ample networking breaks, break-out session, poster sessions, YoungNMC network drinks and a conference dinner on the first day. The meeting is in English.
