Application, Fees and Grants
We welcome applications from anywhere in the world. We have grants and scholarships for applicants who have no other means of financing the Summer Course. Please, see grants paragraph in this section for more information.

Registration is possible until 12 June 2024.
Fees
Standard fee | € 550,- | Full standard fee for one Summer Course. |
Accommodation is not provided for the duration of the course. During these courses, there will be catering provided for the morning coffee breaks and lunches.
Financial support
Grants and stipends are intended for highly motivated young scientists with limited resources, who receive no other financial support from third parties (for example employer or sponsor). The allocation decision will be made based on your personal motivation for undertaking the Summer Course, and your future plans in affective neuroscience in general, as well as your socio-economic background: the Board hopes to help those who are at a disadvantage for realizing their plans in affective neuroscience.

Two Spinoza grants of each €500,- are offered by the European Accreditation Committee in CNS (EACIC).
The grant is intended for highly motivated young scientists with limited resources, who receive no other financial support. To be eligible you must be a young scientist, i.e. graduated from your first MSc or MD no more than 5 years before the start of the academic year and you do not receive financial support from third parties (for example employer or sponsor) for the tuition fee.
Procedure
To apply for the above send us (1)a letter of motivation detailing your interest in affective neuroscience and your future career plans related to affective neuroscience, and (2)supporting evidence of your past experience in the field (CV) via e-mail (info-afn@maastrichtuniversity.nl).
You do not need to register yourself, however, if you will join this course even if you will not be granted by a travel grant, please register to "reserve" your spot and if you will be granted you will have a reduction on the fee you've paid.
Applications must be received by the Executive Office before April 15. Applications received after this date and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. The decision of the committee will be announced before 15 May.
Restitution
Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 15 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after 15 days before the event or ‘No Shows’ will not receive a refund.
