Sustainability

Conferences are notoriously unsustainable. We have attempted to minimise our conference footprint by:

• offering a CO2 offset programme for conference participants
• making abstracts and support documents available digitally and offering free wifi across the conference premises
• serving meat-free lunches using regional products where possible
• not providing conference packs, with pens and paper available at reception on demand
• choosing a location that can be easily reached by public transport, with all accommodations and activities in walking distance
• using water cans to refill with tab water during sessions instead of bottled water
• not providing presents to speakers
