Ready to join the ISAP Family?

International Student Ambassadors aka buddies, will have the opportunity to be in contact with students from many different cultures and backgrounds. ISAP Buddies function as an initial contact person for any questions which incoming students may have prior to arriving and mainly when being completely new in Maastricht. This carries a certain level of responsibility, but will also add tremendously to your own personal development. In preparation for your journey as a buddy, you will attend a workshop to touch up on different areas such as communication, intercultural awareness and student psychology. At the end of the programme, all ambassadors will be awarded an official certificate signed by the Executive Board of Maastricht University during an evening where we celebrate you for the hard work. You will also qualify to apply for an EduBadge (Global Citizenship Education) due to the voluntary hours invested in ISAP. 

The whole ISAP programme starts mid August (communication wise) and goes on until the end of March. In this period, you will have subsequently three groups of newbies divided in three blocks.

• Group 1:will arrive end of August and will be in the programme until the end of September. This is the biggest group of max 10 newbies per ambassador
• Group 2 & 3: Smaller groups. Will start mid October and ends in December. Third group will start in February, until the end of March.
