About the Conference

The European Council of Interior Architects, Kristiania University College’s Department of Interior Architecture and the Norwegian Association of Interior Architects and Furniture Designers (NIL) invite you to join the conference Substance – Research in Interior Architecture and Design.

This hybrid two-day conference brings together interior practitioners, academics and students from across Europe

to discuss the manifold aspects of research in interior architecture and design. What are current themes and topics

of interior research? Who does research and in which context?

The conference addresses the contents, frameworks and discourse of research in interior architecture via open discussions of a broad range of short talks – presented by interior educators from universities across Europe, authors

of renowned interior publications, members of professional organisations and researchers who completed research or practice-based PhDs.
