A Hands-on Session

In collaboration with Shirley de Wit and other experts we will dive into the topic of diversity and inclusion in education. We will start discussing some theory, after which you will dive into a topic of your choice: Gender, Culture or Neurodiversity. You will discuss this topic in more detail, do a VR experience, and most importantly work together on a part of your teaching material to make it more inclusive. At the end of the session, everyone will share their experiences and improved teaching materials such that you will learn about all the topics.

Good to know:

  1. You are expected to bring (a part) of your teaching material to work on. This can either be slides, assignments, assessments or text from the study guide.

  2. You will be asked in the registration form to decide what sub-topic you like to focus on during the session.

  3. We will invite different experts to support you during the session.

  4. This is a pilot so please feel free to give feedback anytime during the session or afterwards.
