Travelling

Travelling by OV Chipcard

If you want to use public transport in Rotterdam, you need an OV Chipcard. Debit cards can be used as well (not all types of cards may be supported).

It is useful to buy an anonymous OV Chipcard for 7,50 euros and deposit credit on it for travelling.

Travelling from the airport by train

If you want to travel from the airport by train, you can either buy a train ticket or you can purchase the OV Chipcard at the train station. It takes about 30 minutes to get from Schiphol Amsterdam train station to Rotterdam Central Station by train. For itineraries, visit the NS website.

Travelling from the airport by taxi

If you want to travel from Schiphol Airport by taxi, you can book one directly through their services. Are you looking to travel from Rotterdam Airport by taxi? You can book a taxi from there as well.
