Join us for the 21st International Blaise Users Conference in

In celebration of 40 years of Blaise, the survey platform trusted by professionals worldwide, Statistics Netherlands is excited to host the 21st International Blaise Users Conference (IBUC)! The conference will take place in Rotterdam from April 7 to 11, 2025.

Venue
The conference will be held at the Mainport Hotel Rotterdam a Hilton Affiliate Hotel. This luxurious 5-star hotel, located in the heart of Rotterdam, offers comfort and convenience for all attendees.

Pre-Conference Training
On Monday, April 7, we will kick off the week with a pre-conference day filled with training sessions and spectacular workshops led by members of Team Blaise. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of Blaise.

Key-note speaker
We asked Peter Hein van Mulligen, Chief Economist of Statistics Netherlands, to speak at the IBUC 2025. He has been the chief economist at Statistics Netherlands since 2012. Furthermore, Lon Hofman will give a speech about the existence of 40 years of Blaise and Angelique Berg, our Director-General of Statistics Netherlands will give the opening speech on Tuesday morning!

Social event
As a social event for Wednesday, we have arranged a beautiful boat trip through Rotterdam with a fantastic dinner on board. Step aboard for an unforgettable journey of discovery through Rotterdam, a city that is as vibrant as it is innovative! Rotterdam not only has one of the busiest ports in the world but is also a place where modern architecture and a breathtaking skyline come together. Closing Event for BCLUB Members
The IBUC week will conclude with a BCLUB meeting on Friday, April 11. The IBUC is currently chaired by Gina Cheung, a former employee of the University of Michigan, SRC.
