Registration Molsim 2025

Please register here for the Winterschool on Molecular Simulations (MOLSIM 2025).

The school takes place from January 6 to January 17, 2025, and will be held at the University of Amsterdam, Science Park 904, The Netherlands.

For non-local (abroad) participants, we have rooms reserved at a local hostel, Stayokay Zeeburg, where participants will be housed in shared rooms (two people per room).

The fee covers course materials, accommodation (you will share a room in the hostel; arrangements are made by the University of Amsterdam), meals (except for Saturday January 11; explore Amsterdam on your own! On January 12, Sunday night, we will have a social event including dinner, and on Thursday, January 9, we will have a poster session with pizza), coffee/tea during the week, the welcome event, the weekend social event, and the poster session including food and drinks.

Please note that rooms are reserved from January 5 (Sunday, check-in between 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) to January 17 (Friday, check-out at 10:00 AM).

For local participants, the fee includes course materials, coffee/tea during the week, lunch, the welcome event, the weekend social event, and the poster session including food and drinks.

If we have not received your registration by December 10, 2024, we will assume that you are unable to participate and will admit one of the applicants from the waiting list.

The fee is 800 Euros per person. This includes course materials, coffee/tea during the week, lunch, welcome event, social event in the weekend, and poster session including food and drinks.

We have rooms reserved at a local hostel, Stayokay Zeeburg, where our non-local participants will be housed in shared rooms (2 persons per room). The participation fee is 1500 Euros for participants from academic or related institutions.

The fee covers course materials, accommodation (you will share a room in a hostel, with arrangements made by the University of Amsterdam), meals (except for dinner on Sunday, January 12, when we will have a social event, and Thursday, January 9, when we will have a poster session with pizza and on Saturday January 11; explore Amsterdam!), coffee/tea during the week, a welcome event, a social event on the weekend, and the poster session including food and drinks.

You can inform us with whom you prefer to share the room. Note: We will take your preference into account but cannot guarantee it.

The poster session will take place on Thursday the 11th of January from 17:00 till 20:00. During the poster session you will have the opportunity to present your research and share your findings with your peer researchers. During this event you can network and get inspired for future research projects and have some pizza and drinks. All participants are allowed to bring a poster, preferably A0 size, we will set up posterboards on which you can attach your posters. Feel free to bring an existing poster. Note there there is no possibility to print your poster here at the university.
