Lisa Clifforde, Animal Welfare Officer at Zoological Society of London; Member of the EAZA Animal Welfare Working Group.
The EAZA Animal Welfare Working Group (AWWG) was formed in 2015, with the aim to support and advise EAZA Ex situ Programmes, Taxon Advisory Groups (TAGs) and other EAZA Committees and Working Groups in animal welfare best practice. The working group achieves this through promoting applied, evidence‐based, animal welfare science, in order to foster positive animal welfare throughout all EAZA institutions.
