Annette Pedersen
Since 2009, Annette has contributed to the Danish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (DAZA) animal training course and serves as Chair of the Animal Training Working Group and a member of the Animal Welfare Working Group for the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA).
She also instructs EAZA animal training courses. Additionally, Annette served on the board of the Animal Behaviour Management Alliance (ABMA) from 2014-2016 and currently represents ABMA as an EU liaison.

Barbara Heidenreich
Barbara provides consulting services to zoos, nature centres, and animal facilities. She regularly lectures to the veterinary community and is an adjunct clinical instructor at Texas A&M University. A former president of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators, she served on its Board of Directors from 1997-2009. Barbara also supports conservation projects like the Kakapo Recovery Program and the Bird Endowment.
Throughout her career, Barbara has trained animals, staff, and presented shows at over 80 facilities worldwide. She has been a featured speaker on animal training in over twenty countries and published in nine languages. Barbara teaches learning theory and practical animal training skills, and has trained thousands of animals, from rabbits to rhinos. Her goal is to leave a legacy of kindness to animals by sharing her expertise, helping caregivers solve behaviour problems and build trust with the animals in their care.
