Benjamin Jones

Benjamin Jones is Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Nottingham.

The focus of Benjamin's work is on measurement and modelling approaches to the indoor environment that can inform policies to create low-carbon and healthy building stocks. He is particularly interested in the energy efficient ventilation of buildings and its relationship with indoor air quality and occupant health. Benjamin supported the pandemic responses of the UK and Chilean governments and worked on ASHRAE Standard 241 that aims to Control Infectious Aerosols in buildings.

Francine L'Ortye

Drs. F.L.H.M. (Francine) L'Ortye is currently Program Director Pandemic Preparedness Public Health.

Prior to that, she was a member of the Management Team for Crisis Management and Infectious Diseases and acting Director of Public Health at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, Program Manager for the Environment and Planning Act at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and Head of Research, Projects and Grant Acquisition at the Municipality of The Hague. Previously, she held various management positions at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Francine L'Ortye studied Legal Administrative Sciences at the Catholic University of Brabant in Tilburg.
