15:00 – 15:30 HENDRIK FRANKEN & KARLIJN MUTSAERS (Vermaat)
How do you remain relevant to your customers? In this talk you get an insight into an organisation that understands this better than anyone. ‘There is still a lot of progress to be made in the world of food and drink’, they say at Vermaat. Hendrik Franken (Marketing and Concept Director) and Karlijn Mutsaers (Corporate Marketing Manager) explain their approach. Vermaat’s concepts ensure that working in the office becomes attractive once again, with food that raises productivity. ‘We do much more than just providing sandwiches.’ Increasingly challenging problems raised by customers continually give rise to new perspectives, greater competitive differentiation and more relevance.
15:45 – 16:15 MICHIEL MAAGD & WESSEL REURSLAG (Heineken)
With 200 breweries in 85 countries, Heineken deals with diverse maturity levels and cultures. Yet, they need to find a way for all of them to work in a similar manner to enhance efficiency. Michiel Maagd, Global Head of Connected Brewery and Wessel Reurslag, Product Owner Robotics, spearhead a digital transformation that starts not in the boardroom, but in the brewery itself. The system developed by Heineken brings not only efficiency and insights but also makes the work of brewery employees easier and more enjoyable.

SCHIPHOL STAGE
15:00 – 15:30 JACQUELINE EEKEN (CitizenM)
When the designers of fashion brand Mexx traveled the world for inspiration and fabric sourcing, they couldn't find a hotel that was cool, funky, inspiring, and within their budget. That's when owner Rattan Chadha said, "Let's do it ourselves." And thus, the CitizenM hotel chain was born. Following the vision of their designers, they did things their own way, believing in being "different, not better." Director of Culture & People, Jacqueline Eeken, will show you how to embrace this mindset.
15:45 – 16:15 PATRICIA VITALIS (Schiphol Group)
This talk will be in Dutch.
Patricia Vitalis, Director Airport Operations & Aviation Partnerships at Schiphol Group, will share her personal experience dealing with the crisis at the airport in May last year. Gain insight into her hands-on approach, where she made quick decisions that not only had a significant impact but were also successful in overcoming the crisis. The fact that the positive outcome was unknown at the time makes her story even more inspiring.
16:30 – 17:00 FRANK KLAP (LVNL/Air Traffic Control the Netherlands)
As an outsider, you are generally unaware of what goes on in air traffic control towers. Let alone the way in which air traffic controllers are trained to perform their important task optimally. Frank Klap shares an emotional personal experience from his 20-plus years in air traffic control. As a result of it, Frank developed his own theory and training method, which underpin the current-day working procedure in both military and civil aviation. A procedure from which every organisation and every employee can learn.
