In recent years, we have seen a growing number of start-ups claiming to be sustainable, but is the impact they have on society and the environment truly positive, as they assert? And how can this be measured and communicated? The team “True Impact” aims to address this issue by changing the perspective in the start-up community and by proposing a way to identify and highlight the real social and environmental impact of start-up businesses, rather than projecting their success with balance sheet and bank statements.
COLLABORATIVE IMPACT: DUTCH FRESH PORT AND RBS

Dutch Fresh Port is built on the passionate entrepreneurship of generations of leaders in AgroVersFood logistics. It offers growth space to successful entrepreneurs who continuously innovate, collaborate smartly and sustainably. The Master International Supply Chain Management collaborates with DFP in multiple ways and will share the added value of the collaboration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear problem owner’s from the Johan Cruijff ArenA and student’s experiences from the latest Pressure Cooker which will conclude on the 17th of March 2023.

Since 2018 the Master in Consultancy and Entrepreneurship lecture team actively participates in the Erasmus+ mobility outside EU projects. We have been closely working with Australian colleagues from the University Technology Sydney Business School (2018-2022) and Brazilian colleagues from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2020 – ongoing). We will organise this session in a round-table discussion format where our guests from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and the University of the Western Cape (South Africa) will present their approach on international business education and discuss their experiences of cooperation with partners in the Netherlands.
EV CHARGING STATIONS, INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

Hyvolt Group is planning to install 3,000 charging stations within 3 years in the Netherlands. Those charging stations will be installed in commercial sites such as supermarkets. Assuming that the energy provider will be available at the time of the installation, the request was to prototype a creative solution where distribution (location of charging stations) and delivery (prioritization of location/customer) are best optimized. Multiple MSC student teams competed in presenting the best solution to the company.

Harnessing value through collaboration to Rotterdam Cultural Ecosystem

The panel will present a case developed between Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) and New Grounds – a Dutch association focused on fostering culture in Rotterdam. Living Lab is an innovative immersive consulting & training platform which delivers real life learning experience to students while providing actionable and future proof insights to the real world challenges faced by the companies.
RUAS MCE - Master in Consultancy & Entrepreneurship candidates worked closely with New Grounds Senior Management to co-create solutions to the challenges which ultimately had a positive impact to the organization and its surrounding communities.
The panel will inspire you in the value of collaboration and creative problem solving engaging with communities in win-win-win partnerships.
The panel includes the client, Mr. Oscar van der Pluijm, cultural entrepreneur, manager, consultant and musician. He is currently director of the World Music & Dance Center foundation and music venue GROUNDS. He is also the owner of the consultancy firm O ZO management.
