Nowadays we are not moving enough, our daily lives overwhelm us with tons of input and information and we forget who we really are and what we really want. As a consequence, we are not able to channel our energies to a high performance to reach our goals.
Boosting your mental and physical performance means re-discovering traditional and ancient techniques like breathing and movement together with the newest tools of coaching, visualizations and mind-body alignment in order to reach your full potential and optimal performance towards your goals.
This workshop will teach you the basics for creating a powerful mind in a healthy body in order to make you feel good while enhancing your energy, focus and stamina.
10:00 - 11:00 | Yoga mix

The practice of yoga can help you achieve physical, mental and spiritual wellness. In this yoga class, you will engage in a series of physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation or relaxation practices. There will also be some challenging and powerful poses, as well as a mix of tai chi and/or pilates exercises.
In yoga, it’s important to listen to your body and to honour your own limits. It is an invitation to let go of any judgment or self-doubt, and to simply be present in the moment.
The class is suitable for all levels and everyone is welcome to join, whether you’ve done yoga before or if you’re new to the practice.
Use this time to give your body and mind a break, and to feel a renewed sense of energy and calmness.
please wear: comfortable sports clothes. Yoga mats are available at the location, but you are also allowed to bring your own mat if you have one.
11:30 - 13:00 |Tips and tricks for a quick and healthy breakfast/lunch (and preparing it!)

In the fastpaced world of today, it is easy to quickly settle for a unhealthy sandwich, walk into a fastfood restaurant or eat the bread in your lunch box on the way to your next activity. Do you recognize yourself? Then join this workshop. I’ll teach you about the health benefits of a gluten and dairy free meal, while you prepare breakfast/lunch that is not only quick to make, but also healthy and delicious! Together we are going to prepare various meals. So make sure to bring a lunch boxes, bag or lockable containers, because you’ll not only take home the recipes but also all the goodies we have made.
About the trainer: I am Rhea de Vries-Heeringa and convinced that a positive lifestyle has a great influence on our Health! That's why next to being a General Practitioner, I am a lifestyle expert and have founded my company "Gezond in het Kwadraat." I live in Maastricht together with my husband and two daughters.
