Innovation is essential to solve the urging capacity issues in hospitals. Shortage of medical staff (nurses) and an increasing demand of specialized care are all contributing to capacity problems, resulting in reduced accessibility and quality of care. These problems call for specific (technological) innovations and the redesigning of care pathways, and therefore developing a new interdisciplinary way of thinking.  In this workshop, we will present and discuss the results of the earlier sandpit session and explain the first research plans. 

Together we will explore opportunities to expand our strategic agenda with the ideas generated in this masterclass.
