WORK SESSION | 1st 1000 DAYS
In our ambition to 'Reduce avoidable health inequality in the first 1000 days', we aim to identify risk factors, critical phases and mechanisms in the first 1000 days and to develop innovative prevention strategies and tools to improve the start of life and to reduce inequality amongst vulnerable groups. During a sandpit session with researchers and practitioners from multiple disciplines and organizations, several critical topics were identified.
In today's session we would like to invite medical, technical and social researchers and practitioners to co-develop the ambition project and to explore with us the scientific and societal challenges and opportunities within this critical topic: rewarding and normalizing reproduction, pregnancy and parenting. Experts from the field will introduce this topic in a short pitch.
This session is moderated by: Vincent Jaddoe, Adja Waelput and Sushma Munshi.
