Welcome to Wageningen!
Located in the charming university town of Wageningen in the east of the Netherlands, the SCP23 Conference will take place at WUR Campus. With its beautiful natural surroundings and historic architecture, Wageningen is easily accessible by public transportation from various destinations in the Netherlands and abroad.
This page provides all the information you need to get to the WUR Campus and navigate around the town, so you can make the most of your visit.
How to travel to WUR Campus?
The address of the WUR campus is Droevendaalsesteeg 2. You can park your car in the (free) car park next to Radix. The nearest busstop is either Campus/Forum or Campus/Atlas.

If you arrive at Amsterdam or Schiphol Airport, you can take the train to Ede-Wageningen station. Trains with Nijmegen as final destination will stop at Ede-Wageningen. The train ride will take 1 hour.

After arriving at Station Ede-Wageningen, you can take the bus (around 20 minutes) or taxi (± 30€) (around 15 minutes) to Wageningen.
The Valleilijn bus (line C3) runs between Ede-Wageningen station and bus station in Wageningen, and passes Wageningen Campus. During rush hour there is a bus every ten minutes, outside rush hour every quarter and in the late hours it is a half-hour service. F

Route From Utrecht or Arnhem: From the A12 motorway take the ‘Ede, Bennekom, Wageningen’ exit. Follow signposts to Wageningen, and take the first exit on the first roundabout.
From Nijmegen: From the A50 motorway take the ‘Renkum, Oosterbeek, Wageningen’ exit. Follow signposts to Wageningen, and once you enter Wageningen take a right at the first traffic lights (Diedenweg). At the following traffic lights, go straight on. At the roundabout, take a left (third exit).
From Tiel: From the A15 motorway, take the ‘Rhenen’ exit. Follow signposts to Rhenen and then Wageningen. Once you enter Wageningen, take a left at the first traffic lights (Kortenoord Allee). At the following traffic lights, take a right (Nijenoord Allee). Then, take a left at the third traffic lights (Mansholtlaan). At the roundabout, take a left (third exit).
How to get around in Wageningen?
Getting around in Wageningen is easy and convenient, thanks to the town's efficient public transportation system.
- Buses run regularly throughout the town, providing easy access to all the main locations. You can purchase single-ride tickets or day passes from the bus driver or at the train station. If you plan to use public transportation frequently during your stay, it's worth considering purchasing an OV-chipkaart, a rechargeable smart card that provides discounted fares on buses, trains, and trams throughout the Netherlands.
- Biking is also a popular mode of transportation in Wageningen and is a great way to explore the town's natural surroundings.
