The many restaurants of Egmond aan Zee offer a variety of cuisines for you to try. Start your day with breakfast with an ocean-view at Breakbest. Enjoy dishes cooked with local and organic ingredients at Brass Kaatje (photo below), indulge in Dutch seafood at Van Speijk or Het Wapen van Egmond, or go for lunch or dinner at the beach at Beachcafé Club Chill. Want to pair your meal with a glass of typical Dutch beer? Then Eetcafé 't Swintje has got you covered. 

 

 

After dinner, skip desert and go for a stroll at the boulevard to get some ice cream at Egmond's famous Ijssalon Pravisani (or one of the other ice cream stands near the beach). 
 

 

For those not in the mood to spend an afternoon or evening at a restaurant but still wanting to try Dutch seafood, Vis Super and De Visboet are popular places for a quick serving of locally caught herring, kibbeling (fried fish) or prawns. And of course, you can not visit the Netherlands without having some Dutch fries with mayonnaise!
