The European Diamond-Blackfan Anemia Symposium 

Dear Participants,

We are delighted to invite you to the 4th edition of the EuroDBA "Global Bridges" symposium on DBA at the Sanquin Blood Research Organization in Amsterdam on May 30-31.

This international symposium is intended to bring together scientists, clinicians and patient organizations. This 4th edition will be a new opportunity to deepen our understanding of the mechanisms underlying this rare disease, share resources and ideas, and explore new avenues to improve the diagnosis and treatment for DBA patients worldwide.

The program leaves a large room to communications presented by the participants. We strongly encourage the submission of abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations. The deadline for submissions is April 15.

Amsterdam is easy to reach from many countries and we hope to see you there in person, three years after the last edition. However, we realize that some of you may still have difficulties to travel, and the meeting will include the possibility to follow the talks by webconference. 

Most of the organization costs are covered by a grant from the European Joint Program on Rare Diseases and by the generous support of patient organisations. You will find on the website some indication for hotel accommodation.

The deadline for registration has been extended to May 24, so do not hesitate to join us in Amsterdam or remotely.
