Who will win the CAPHRI Dissertation Award and the CAPHRI PhD Video Award?
Dissertation Award 2022
The Dissertation Award recognizes the completion of an outstanding dissertation by a CAPHRI PhD candidate in 2021.
The nominees are:
- Stefan Elbers (Functioning, Participation and Rehabilitation)
On Maintaining Successful Treatment Outcomes in Interdisciplinary Multimodal Pain Treatment.
- Volker Hackert (Health Inequities and Societal Participation)
Mapping Underestimation in Q Fever: Insights from a Major Cross-border Outbreak in the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion.
- Svenja Petersohn (Creating Value-Based Health Care)
Health technology assessment of treatment for peripheral arterial disease.
- Katya Sion (Ageing and Long-Term Care)
Connecting conversations: experienced quality of care from the resident’s perspective: a narrative method for nursing homes.
- Karlijn Thoonen (Promoting Health and Personalised Care)
Breaking through the clouds - towards understanding sunburn, sun exposure and sun protection of children in the Netherlands.
PhD Video Award
All CAPHRI PhD candidates are invited to make a video in which they present their PhD research for the general public. All video's will be showcased during the Research Day. A selection of 8 video's (at least one per research line) will be given a special place in the spotlight as these will be shown during the PhD Video Session. The best video will be awarded.
