About (attendance) registration

I missed the deadline for registration, can I still join?
No, sorry. As the Graduation Ceremony is just a few days away, it's no longer possible to register/join.

Is my UM card enough identification to get my diploma?
No, we need to see a valid ID, for example an EU identity card, drivers license or passport. Please bring your UM card as well, if you still have it. Sorry, we have to be quite strict about this.

If there is an emergency, who do I contact?
If you have a problem on the day of your ceremony, for example if you are in a traffic jam and can't be on time for registration, you can contact us via +31 (0)43-38 84335. Non-urgent messages: email to fpn-gradceremony@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

About the ceremony

Will there be a live stream?
Yes, a live stream from the MECC will be arranged. You will receive more information about the live stream a week beforehand.

Is it possible to take photos?
Yes, but no flash photography please. A professional photographer will take pictures during the ceremony. There will be photo spots where you can take great pictures after the ceremony.

Can I choose my own seat?
The graduates will have assigned seats. Your guests are free to choose their own seats in the Auditorium.

Will we receive graduation caps and gowns?
Each graduate will receive a graduation cap to keep. FPN does not use gowns in its ceremonies.
 
About amenities at the MECC
Does the MECC have free wifi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available. Choose MECC_FREE_WIFI, accept the conditions and you will have access.

Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, it's supervised and free.

Is there wheelchair access?
Yes. Disabled people are advised to park at P4 (€ 15,-), as these parking spaces are closest to the elevators. Once in the MECC, go to our staff for further support.
