Information for all attendees

The workshop is organized using Microsoft Teams meetings in the Microsoft Teams environment. We think this environment is more suitable for a workshop. Everyone registered for the workshop will receive an e-mail from Microsoft Team with the subject "You have been added as a guest to TU Eindhoven in Microsoft Teams". In the mail is the message that "[name] from the local organization has added you as a guest to TU Eindhoven!". We plan to send you these mails on 1 December 2020. Please store this mail carefully. If you do not have MS-Teams installed it is you access point to the conference Team. 

You can then click on "open Microsoft Teams". It depends on whether you already have MS-Teams on your computer with an e-mail address that is registered, or that you do not have MS Teams installed but do have an e-mail address that is registered with Microsoft (e.g. an outlook.com address) or an e-mail address that is not registered with Microsoft. In the latter case you will be asked to give a password and register the mail-address.

Typically your web-browser will open, as well as a window in which you are asked to install MS Teams and/or run MS Teams. But there is also an option in the web-browser to run it as a web-application. It is best to run MS-Teams from the web-browser in case your institution does not use Microsoft office 356. Please contact us in case you have any questions/issues on this.

When you are in the Team for the ESLW2020 there are a number of channels available to you: a general channel with the meeting that you can enter for all presentations,  channels for the Poster sessions with a separate meeting for each poster in that session. There is also a coffee room. In that channel anyone can start a Teams meeting.

The MS Teams environment is immediately available after you have accepted the team membership.

Information on oral presentations

All presentations are intended to be presented live (it is a workshop!). You can present you power point or other presentation by attending the meeting and sharing your presentation screen. You do not need to upload your presentation. At each session someone will be chairing and someone from the organization will help the chair with moderating.

Information on poster presentations

Each poster will be presented in a separate meeting. These meetings are listed and can be accessed in the channels for poster session 1 and 2. You can present your poster in the meeting by sharing your screen to the meeting. Also we ask you to mail us the poster as a .pdf file to us (eslw2020@eslw.eu). We will put those file in the channel of the appropriate poster session. These can be accessed under the files tab of the poster session channels. As soon as one has received the e-mail there will be access to the sessions and meetings and one can try out the poster presentation.
