Bio-energy conference 2009

Realizing bio-energy-initiatives: how does this work and which parties are needed? These questions are answered by SenterNovem in the bio-energy-conference 2009 in regional en local climate policy. During this conference local governments and businesses related to bio-energy are brought together and workshops are organized to discuss practical issues.

The thing that saved me most time, was the fact that distribution lists are kept automatically. Those who had registered were added to a separate distribution list, and those who hadn't were stored in a different list. Also I had precise overview over the registration times.

What I also liked, was the possibility to register a person as an organizer.

Euro-Par 2009 Conference and Workshops

Euro-Par is an annual series of international conferences dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel computing.

The major themes can be divided into the broad categories of hardware, software, algorithms and applications for parallel computing. The objective of Euro-Par is to provide a forum within which to promote the development of parallel computing both as an industrial technique and an academic discipline.

Impact of Base-of-the-Pyramid Ventures

In November 2009 the international conference Impact of Base-of-the-Pyramid Ventures will take place in Delft. The main theme is the impact of BoP-ventures. Lectures and workshops will focus on: impact assessment, asset creation, durable production and consumption. The organizers used aanmelder.nl to sent more than 1000 invitations for this 3-day event.

ICIS conference, EXPO and I-Game

More than five years of ICIS-research and development has resulted in many building blocks for intelligent ICT systems. In January 2010 the project results and possibilities of these systems will be presented during a highly interactive two-day event. For this event more than 200 invitations were sent with aanmelder.nl.

Workshops

Nikon Photography Expert Workshops

Nikon selected nine of the top photographers in the Netherlands, each with their specific specialism, and asked them to share their experience in practical workshops. The result is a series of workshops for advances hobby photographers that want to take the step to ultimate photography.

Already 20 workshops have been managed with aanmelder.nl, each with about 10 participants.

Nikon also uses aanmelder.nl for the Photography students day that is being held in the Dutch photo museum.

HOPE entrepreneurship

HOPE entrepreneurship is an innovative center for entrepreneurship of more than 50,000 students of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Delft University of Technology and Leiden University.

Both the opening event and the Holland Entrepreneurship week were organized with the aanmelder.nl services.

Workshop on Compilers for Parallel Computing - Zurich

The Compilers for Parallel Computing Workshop is a venue for researchers in the area of parallel compilation to meet and present their latest research activities and results.

For this 3-day workshop 50 participants have registered and paid their fees with aanmelder.nl

Tribler course: A 1-day introduction into advanced P2P Technology

The Tribler project aims to research and develop innovative online television and video through peer-to-peer technology. For this project Delft University of Technology organized a workshop for stakeholders such as software developers and television broadcasters.

BNO Vroaam, career event for designers 2009

The BNO is the branch organization for the design sector in the Netherlands. More than 2500 individual designers and 200 design companies and -sections are members of BNO.

For the VROAAM carreer event and for BNO Tallks 600 designers have registered and paid with aanmelder.nl.

Introduction week Owee Delft University 2009

The OWee is the yearly introduction for all students starting their studies in Delft. In five days more than 2100 students learn everything that's needed to have a successful student time.

For the OWee week aanmelder supported the registration and payments of freshmen students. Furthermore also the registration of volunteers and student house sleep-ins was handled through aanmelder.

International Design Seminar 2009

Every two years the architecture faculty of Delft University of Technology organizes the International Design Seminar Indesem. This seminar consists of a week full of workshops, lectures, excursions, exhibitions and debates. Since 1962 international architects like Aldo van Eijck, Adriaan Geuze and Rem Koolhaas have been hosted by Indesem.

Science to Business Café

The Science to Business Café aims to offer networking oppertunities for entrepreneurial students, researchers, starting and experienced entrepreneurs, and other professionals that relate to the cross-over between science and business. The café is organized 5 to 6 times per year by the Radboud University Nijmegen and other partners.
